River Oaks Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram is seeking an Automotive Sales Consultant to be the face of the dealership, helping customers select vehicles and ensuring a positive buying experience.

We offer earning potential with incentive-based pay, paid training, growth paths to Finance Manager and Sales Manager, and benefits including medical, dental, vision, and a 401k.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Automotive Sales Experience
• Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Excellent customer service, organizational and negotiation skills
• Bi-lingual is a plus
• Self-motivated, goal orientated and enthusiastic presence in a team environment
• Prior proven customer-service or retail sales experience
• Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screen in accordance with local law/regulations
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy

Responsibilities

• Assist customers entering the dealership, answer questions and help select a vehicle.
• Provide timely follow-up and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Explain product performance, application and benefits, describe options, and assess customer needs.
• Deliver vehicles and ensure customers understand features, warranty and paperwork.
• Keep up with inventory, features and how they benefit customers.
• Introduce customers to service department staff to highlight quality and maintenance capabilities in the dealership.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by management

Job Responsibilities:

• Assisting customers who enter the dealership, answering their questions and helping them select a vehicle that is right for their needs
• Provide timely follow up and maintain strong relationships with customers
• Explaining product performance, application and benefits to prospects and describing all optional equipment available for customer purchase. Determine each customer’s vehicle needs by asking questions and listening
• Deliver vehicles to customers. The delivery process ensures that the customer understands the vehicle’s operating features, warranty, and paperwork, and it lays the foundation for customer loyalty
• Keep abreast of incoming inventory, features, accessories, etc., and how they benefit customers
• Introduce customers to service department personnel to emphasize to them the quality and efficiency of service repairs and maintenance available in the dealership’s service department.
• Other duties as assigned by management
