Job summary

Wright Chevrolet Buick GMC, part of Wright Automotive Group, is seeking salespeople who bring energy and a great attitude. No experience is required; we will train you to be successful and offer ongoing growth opportunities in a community-focused dealership.

You will explain vehicle features, build rapport, and guide customers through the buying process while earning salary plus commission and benefits such as health, dental, vision, 401K, PTO, and a 5-day/40-hour work week.

Qualifications

• No experience required; we provide training.
• Previous dealership experience is a plus but not necessary.
• Must have a clean and valid driver’s license.
• Must be willing to submit to a drug screen prior to employment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills a must.

Responsibilities

• Approach, greet, and assist customers in showroom or lot.
• Help customers select a vehicle by asking questions and listening.
• Explain product features, performance, and benefits.
• Describe optional equipment and pricing options.
• Build rapport and perform vehicle presentations and demonstrations.
• Learn to overcome objections and close sales per company standards.
• Report to the Sales Manager on objectives and activities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Approach, greet, and offer assistance or direction to any customer who enters the dealership showroom or sales lot.
• Assist customers in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses.
• Explain product performance, application, and benefits to prospects.
• Describe all optional equipment available for customer purchase.
• Build strong rapport with customers.
• Perform high-quality, professional, and knowledgeable presentation and demonstration of new/used vehicles.
• Learn to overcome objections, close sales, and perform all other steps of the sales process in accordance with company standards.
• Report to the Sales Manager regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews, and analysis

REQUIREMENTS:

• No experience necessary
• Previous dealership experience is a huge plus
• Comfortable with compensation based on commission sales
• Enthusiastic with high energy throughout the sales workday
• Outgoing with a friendly personality, especially while handling objections & negotiating pricing
• Have quality customer service skills
• Possess strong communication skills
• Must have a clean & valid driver’s license
• Must be willing to submit to a drug screen prior to employment
