Job summary

The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is seeking a Sales Associate for Napleton KIA of Carmel in Carmel, IN. You will be the face of the dealership, guiding customers through the car buying journey and delivering an exceptional experience.

This role offers an opportunity to earn up to $150,000 per year with incentive-based pay, in a long-standing family-owned organization. Benefits include health & dental insurance, 401k, paid time off, and substantial growth opportunities across a major automotive

Qualifications

• 2+ years of sales or customer service experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong customer service, organization, and negotiation skills.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and team-oriented.
• Previous customer-service or retail sales experience preferred.
• Willingness to undergo a background check.
• Must be 18 or older.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers entering the dealership and help them choose a vehicle that fits their needs.
• Provide timely follow-up and maintain relationships with customers.
• Explain product performance, options, and benefits to prospects and describe available equipment.
• Deliver vehicles to customers and ensure understanding of features, warranty, and paperwork.
• Stay informed about incoming inventory and how features benefit customers.
• Introduce customers to service department personnel to highlight service options and maintenance.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assisting customers who enter the dealership, answering their questions and helping them select a vehicle that is right for their needs
• Provide timely follow up and maintain strong relationships with customers
• Explaining product performance, application and benefits to prospects and describing all optional equipment available for customer purchase. Determine each customer’s vehicle needs by asking questions and listening
• Deliver vehicles to customers. The delivery process ensures that the customer understands the vehicle’s operating features, warranty, and paperwork, and it lays the foundation for customer loyalty
• Keep abreast of incoming inventory, features, accessories, etc., and how they benefit customers
• Introduce customers to service department personnel to emphasize to them the quality and efficiency of service repairs and maintenance available in the dealership’s service department.

Job Requirements:

• 2+ years of Sales or Customer Service Experience
• Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Excellent customer service, organizational and negotiation skills
• Self-motivated, goal orientated and enthusiastic presence in a team environment
• Prior proven customer-service or retail sales experience
• Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local law/regulations
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy
