Job summary

Napleton Kia of Fishers in Fishers, IN is seeking a Sales Consultant to greet customers, qualify needs, present vehicles, and arrange delivery while building lasting relationships. The role offers commission-based earning potential with incentives and benefits.

You’ll receive hands-on training, medical/dental, a 401(k), and opportunities for growth within the dealership. As a face of the dealership, you’ll help customers select the right vehicle, explain features, and ensure a smooth purchase

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Sales or Customer Service experience.
• Excellent customer service, organizational and negotiation skills.
• Willingness to undergo a background check.
• 18+ years of age or older for driving policy compliance.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers entering the dealership and help them choose a vehicle that fits their needs.
• Provide timely follow up and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Explain product features and benefits and review optional equipment with customers.
• Deliver vehicles and ensure customers understand operating features, warranties, and paperwork.
• Stay informed about inventory, features, and service offerings to advise customers.
• Introduce customers to service department to showcase quality and efficiency.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assisting customers who enter the dealership, answering their questions and helping them select a vehicle that is right for their needs
• Provide timely follow up and maintain strong relationships with customers
• Explaining product performance, application and benefits to prospects and describing all optional equipment available for customer purchase. Determine each customer’s vehicle needs by asking questions and listening
• Deliver vehicles to customers. The delivery process ensures that the customer understands the vehicle’s operating features, warranty, and paperwork, and it lays the foundation for customer loyalty
• Keep abreast of incoming inventory, features, accessories, etc., and how they benefit customers
• Introduce customers to service department personnel to emphasize to them the quality and efficiency of service repairs and maintenance available in the dealership’s service department.

Job Requirements:

• 2+ years of Sales or Customer Service Experience
• Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Excellent customer service, organizational and negotiation skills
• Self-motivated, goal orientated and enthusiastic presence in a team environment
• Prior proven customer-service or retail sales experience
• Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local law/regulations
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy
