Job summary

LaFontaine Infiniti Troy is seeking a motivated Automotive Sales Consultant to join our team in Troy, MI. In this role, you will engage customers to understand their vehicle needs, explain features, and guide them through the sales process.

You will build strong relationships and strive to achieve sales targets. Greet customers, demonstrate features, discuss pricing and financing options, and manage documentation.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory MVR.
• Proven automotive or related sales experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Effective problem-solving skills and ability to handle diverse sales situations.
• Capability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assess their vehicle preferences and requirements.
• Demonstrate vehicle features and operation in the showroom and during test drives.
• Recommend optional equipment and accessories to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Manage vehicle availability and inventory options.
• Work with Sales Managers to determine pricing, including taxes, trade-in values, licensing, discounts, and financing.
• Prepare and process all sales documentation, including credit applications and contracts.
• Deliver vehicles to customers and ensure they understand operation, warranty, and paperwork.
• Maintain a system for prospect development to cultivate potential customers.
• Stay current on new products, features, and accessories through ongoing training and meetings.
• Comply with company policies while meeting or exceeding sales targets.
