Job Description

Sales Associate Empire Automotive Group Hicksville Chevrolet

Our award-winning dealership is looking for a sales leader to represent America's top-selling SUV, Trucks and Electrified Vehicles. Here at Empire Chevrolet in Hicksville you will be given the opportunity to assist customers in sorting out their automotive needs and desires from the exhilarating Corvette, the top-selling Chevy Silverado or the exciting new Electrified Vehicles like Bolt. Responsibilities

  • Develops relationships with customers to build a client-base for life
  • Exhibits consultative selling skills and assists customers in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses
  • Continuously develops product and sales acumen to become the vehicle authority; knows the ins and the outs of product offerings, optional packages, and the latest technologies
  • Performs high-quality, professional demonstrations of new/used vehicles
  • Follows up with buyers to ensure successful referral business
  • Learns to overcome objections and thrive within sales situations
  • Reports directly to the Sales Manager regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews, and analyzes
  • Brings ‘A game’ along with a positive attitude to work every single day

Qualifications

  • Reliable, self-starter mentality and ambitious spirit preferred
  • Ready to waste no time on learning new product ins and outs; eager to improve
  • Professional, well-groomed personal appearance
  • Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
  • You have excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • You understand the importance of listening and being empathetic.
  • You have strong work-ethic with the ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
  • You have at least one year of prior employment involving customer-facing service or telephone contact.
  • You have friendliness, enthusiasm, reliability, with a positive "team-player" attitude.
  • You are open to constructive feedback to improve your performance and development.
  • You have strong computer, phone and multitasking skills.
