Job summary

Surge Staffing is seeking an Automotive Sales Consultant to join our sales team in a customer-focused role. You will guide customers through the vehicle-buying process, present and demo vehicles, and build lasting relationships to drive sales and customer satisfaction.

Previous automotive sales is not required, but strong sales, retail, or customer service backgrounds are encouraged. A $2,500 sign-on bonus is offered along with competitive compensation and commission opportunities.

• Automotive sales experience is a plus, but not required.
• Comfortable speaking with customers and presenting products.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and create a welcoming, professional sales experience.

• Conduct test drives and answer customer questions.
• Guide customers through the sales process from initial contact through delivery.
• Follow up with prospective and previous customers.
• Develop and maintain a customer pipeline.
• Respond to customer inquiries by phone, email, and other communication channels.
• Assist customers throughout the purchasing process.
• Maintain accurate customer and sales records.
• Stay current on vehicle models, features, incentives, and promotions.
• Work with management and other departments to ensure a smooth customer experience.
• Meet individual and team sales goals.
