Amentum is seeking Safety Lab Test Technicians to support testing in Dearborn, MI. The role focuses on impact, sled, airbag and restraint system testing, with responsibilities including fixture fabrication, instrumentation setup, test execution, data collection and post-test cleanup.

Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma, mechanical and electrical knowledge, the ability to use hand tools, and a valid driver’s license to pass PMHV licensing. Overtime and shift flexibility apply.

• Must have a valid driver’s license to pass PMHV licensing.
• Ability to use hand tools.

Responsabilités

• Support testing in front/rear impact, interior head impact, head-form impact, sled operation, airbags and seatbelts.
• Fabrication of fixtures, mechanical prep and instrumentation.
• Test execution, data collection and post-test removal of equipment and components.
• Calibration and troubleshooting of transducers, accelerometers, and load cells.
