Job summary

Texas Instruments Incorporated in Dallas is seeking an RF Hardware Applications Engineer to drive design-in and optimization of wireless MCUs for automotive use cases, including Bluetooth Low Energy, UWB, and WBMS-related protocols.

You will collaborate with customers on-site, perform lab tests, develop reference designs and RF development kits, and provide cross-functional support to sales and engineering teams worldwide.

Qualifications

• Experience in RF hardware applications engineering.
• Ability to travel to customer sites.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Hands-on RF lab experience.

Responsibilities

• Answer customer questions and support design-in activities for released products.
• Plan, design, develop and characterize RF development kits (LaunchPads), EVMs and RF reference designs.
• Test and optimize RF performance on customer hardware and reference designs in a lab.
• Perform electromagnetic (EM) simulations and analyses of designs.
• Develop and optimize RF PHYs and provide technical support to sales and customers.
• Develop technical documentation including application notes and white papers.
