Job summary

Texas Instruments is seeking an RF Hardware Applications Engineer for its Connectivity Automotive Applications team to advance wireless MCU solutions in Car Access, WBMS and TPMS. You will collaborate with customers, deliver on-site technical support, and contribute to RF development in a global lab environment.

The role involves planning, designing, testing RF reference designs, conducting EM simulations, and maintaining detailed design notes and application documentation.

Qualifications

• Requires RF hardware experience and ability to work with customers to solve design challenges.
• Willingness to travel for customer visits and on-site support.
• Strong lab skills in RF measurement, testing, and debugging.

Responsibilities

• Answer customer questions and support design-in activities for released products.
• Plan, design, develop and characterize RF development kits and reference designs.
• Test and optimize RF performance on customer hardware and reference designs.
• Perform EM simulations and analyses of RF designs.
• Provide technical support to sales staff and customers.
• Develop technical documentation including application notes and guides.
• Interface with cross-functional teams to ensure customer success.
