Job summary

AutoZone is hiring for a Retail Sales Associate to deliver WOW! Customer Service in a fast-paced automotive retail setting. You will assist customers, locate parts, explain features, and help them find the right solutions while upholding store standards.

Ideal candidates are energetic, reliable, and fluent in English (Spanish helpful). Flexible availability including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime. No prior experience required; ASE certification is a plus but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 16
• Physical ability to lift, load and deliver merchandise
• Flexible schedule including mornings, nights, weekends and overtime
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus

Responsibilities

• Customer Assistance & Communication – Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and ensure positive interactions through clear, professional communication.
• Leadership & Teamwork – Collaborate with managers and teammates to create a motivated, productive store environment. Support team members and demonstrate leadership in daily responsibilities.
• Sales & Metrics Mindedness – Recommend products, services, and promotions to enhance customer experience, while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Inventory Management & Store Operations – Restock merchandise, maintain organization, and follow proper point of sale procedures, loss prevention policies ensuring proper financial management.
• Process Orientation & Safety Compliance – Utilize structured processes to complete assigned tasks efficiently. Follow company safety policies and use PPE to maintain a secure work environment.
• Product Knowledge – Stay up to date on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems.
• Diagnostics Support – Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
