Genuine Parts Company is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for our NAPA retail store in Minnesota. You will support the Store Manager across operations, sales, and customer-facing activities while maintaining high standards and coaching the team for continuity.

The role serves as a developmental path toward Store Manager, with potential overtime and keyholder duties opening/closing the store as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive after-market or willingness to learn automotive
• Leadership experience and customer care focus
• Knowledge of cataloging and/or inventory systems
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs
• Experience in parts/retail or related management roles
• ASE certifications a plus
• NAPA Know How familiarity

Responsibilities

• Partner daily with Store Manager on operations, sales, inventory health, labor alignment
• Actively sell and build customer relationships across channels
• Model expected behaviors and processes
• Oversee opening/closing routines and cash reconciliation
• Handle scheduling input, compliance docs, and performance tracking
• Monitor store metrics and drive problem-solving
• Provide coaching and development for team
• Drive safety, asset protection and continuous improvement
