Job summary

AAA Club Alliance in Richmond, VA seeks an Automotive Technician B with at least 3 years of experience to diagnose and repair suspension/steering, brakes, electrical, and HVAC systems, maintain a clean, safe workspace, and support the team with craftsmanship.

The role offers hourly pay from $23.46 to $32.95, eligibility for productivity bonuses, and benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, and holiday pay.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of automotive technician experience.
• ASE or dealership certifications in three categories: Suspension & Steering, Brakes and Heating & Air Conditioning (or ability to obtain within 12 months – paid for by AAA).
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with the team.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Valid driver's license.
• Authorized to work in the USA.
• Ability to pass pre-employment screenings (background, drug, fitness for duty).

Responsibilities

• Routinely perform diagnostics and repairs in suspension/steering, brakes, electrical, HVAC, and related areas.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of specialized skills and continue to develop additional technical skills.
• Maintain a clean, well-organized work area.
• Properly maintain tools and equipment and follow safety procedures per manufacturer and company policies.

Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, geographic location, and other job-related factors as permitted by law.Billable Hours Guarantee: 20-hour minimum per week.Productivity Bonus: Opportunity to earn a $250 – $550 bonus every two weeks, based on productivity and performance.Schedule: Full-time, 5 days/week (Mondays, Fridays & Saturdays are often required).
