Qualifications

• Exceptional refinish skills required.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities essential.
• Must comply with safety requirements and respirator fit testing.
• Proficient with paint equipment and mixing software.
• Ability to read service and repair manuals.
• Ability to perform refinish work in a timely fashion.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Plan all refinish work according to specifications.
• Prepare surfaces by taping, sanding, and masking.
• Mix and match paint per specifications.
• Sand, mask, finish painting, seal and touch up; adjust equipment for spray patterns.
• Follow OEM standards for top coat, curing, and blending formulas.
• Identify and correct runs, streaks, overspray and other defects.
• Inspect vehicles to ensure all refinish work is complete.
• Comply with safety standards and shop procedures.
• Perform related duties such as washing cars and cleaning the shop.
