Job summary

Hendrick Northlake Collision Center is seeking a skilled automotive painter to apply paint to vehicle parts after repairs. The role covers masking, surface preparation, and finishing to meet quality standards in a busy shop environment.

You will maintain CSI levels, keep your work area clean and safe, and accurately record hours. Flexibility for shifts and adherence to safety protocols are required.

Qualifications

• GED or higher education is preferred and may be required.
• Previous collision center paint experience is desirable.
• Ability to operate painting equipment safely and effectively.
• Basic computer skills to use timekeeping systems.

Responsibilities

• Applies paint to vehicle parts after repair work is complete.
• Covers vehicle parts that do not require painting.
• Buffs or cleans surfaces after paint dries.
• Requests necessary materials and operates painting equipment.
• Performs painting tasks efficiently per collision center guidelines.
• Maintains CSI at or above company standards.
• Maintains an organized, clean, and safe work area.
• Records all hours worked in the timekeeping system.
• Follows safety rules and company core values.
