Job summary

Caliber Collision in Longview, TX is seeking an Automotive Painter to prepare color tint, mix paints, and apply coatings according to OEM standards. You will ensure proper sequencing, masking removal, and reassembly before returning the vehicle to the body technician.

Requirements include 3+ years in paint operations within a collision center; Auto Body certificate or ASE certification in refinishing preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform physical activities such as reaching, kneeling, bending, squatting, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to read and understand instructions, estimates, and work orders.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare color tint to match paint color and mix paints per OEM standards.
• Apply top coat and ensure proper curing and materials usage.
• Perform masking, disassembly and reassembly as needed before returning vehicle to technician.
