Job summary

Capital Automotive Group is seeking a Recruiter to join our Recruiting & Onboarding Team. This market-based role offers remote flexibility with regular travel to dealerships in Charlotte/Salisbury, NC, and surrounding markets.

You’ll partner with managers, manage the full recruiting lifecycle, and create a stellar candidate experience. Ideal candidates bring strong people skills, excellent communication, and a customer-service mindset.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Customer-service mindset and a positive attitude.
• Willingness to travel within the market and use an ATS.
• Recruiting/HR experience is a plus; automotive experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Partner with dealership managers to understand hiring needs and build strong teams.
• Manage full recruiting process from attracting candidates to offers.
• Build genuine relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and leadership.
• Create engaging job postings to attract the right talent.
• Deliver an exceptional candidate experience with timely, professional communication.
• Source candidates and develop talent pipelines for current and future opportunities.
• Coordinate with Onboarding Team to ensure smooth transition for new hires.
• Visit dealerships in assigned market to connect with leadership and support recruiting.

Location: Charlotte / Salisbury, NC market

This is a market-based position with remote flexibility and regular travel to our dealerships. Ideal candidates will live in or near the Charlotte or Salisbury area and be comfortable traveling throughout their assigned market.

What You'll Be Doing

• Partner with dealership managers to understand their hiring needs and help them build strong, successful teams.
• Manage the full recruiting process, from attracting candidates and reviewing applications to prescreening, coordinating interviews, and extending offers.
• Build genuine relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and dealership leadership.
• Create engaging job postings that attract the right talent.
• Deliver an exceptional candidate experience through friendly, timely, and professional communication.
• Proactively source candidates and develop talent pipelines for current and future opportunities.
• Collaborate closely with our Onboarding Team to ensure a smooth transition from candidate to new teammate.
• Visit dealerships throughout your assigned market to connect with leadership, understand their teams, and support recruiting initiatives.
• Represent Capital Automotive Group at career fairs, recruiting events, and community opportunities.
• Stay organized, manage multiple priorities, and keep the hiring process moving!

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
