Job summary

Confidence Ford Of Norman, part of the Cavender Auto Family, is seeking a skilled Reconditioning Technician to perform high-quality inspection and repair work on vehicles, ensuring compliance with dealer, state, and factory standards. You will use CDK DMS for timekeeping, inspections, and quoting, while maintaining tools and workspace in top condition.

Ideal candidates bring 2–3 years of auto technician experience, a valid license, and ASE certifications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2–3 years automotive technician experience preferred.
• ASE or dealership manufacturer certifications preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and clean background.
• Ability to diagnose and repair vehicles accurately.

Responsibilities

• Perform efficient and expert work on repair orders, in accordance with dealership, state and factory standards; maintain knowledge of all factory-technical bulletins.
• Address customers' primary concerns with diagnosis, repair, and quality control to attain 'Fixed First Visit' expectations.
• Perform the Electronic Multi Point Inspection on every vehicle; notify if issues will take more time than anticipated.
• Master our Dealer Management System (CDK) for time keeping, work distribution, electronic inspections, repair quotes and communication.
• Be accountable to all dealership owned tools, and ensure cleanliness throughout workspace and in all customer vehicles.
