Job summary

EchoPark Automotive in Orlando, FL is seeking an Assistant Recon Manager to join our brand new dealership opening mid-October 2026. Travel for orientation to other locations will be required. You will oversee reconditioning operations, driving production to meet inventory targets and ensuring timely completion.

You will partner with technicians, parts, and vendors to remove roadblocks while maintaining high quality, safety, and cost controls across repairs.

Qualifications

• Automotive recon, auction recon or service experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to lead, coach, and hold teams accountable.
• Results-driven mindset with a focus on efficiency and quality.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the Recon Manager in overseeing daily reconditioning operations.
• Drive production to meet frontline commitments and inventory targets.
• Monitor aging units and ensure timely completion.
• Partner with technicians, parts, and vendors to remove roadblocks.
• Maintain high quality, cost control, and safety standards across all repairs.
• Validate recommended repairs and adherence to our Reconditioning Standards.
• Assist with scheduling, workflow management, and team accountability.
• Track performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.
