Job summary

BMW of Minnetonka, part of Lithia & Driveway, seeks an experienced Automotive Recon Manager to lead a high-volume recon operation at the dealership. You will dispatch technicians, manage workflow, and keep vehicles moving from recon to frontline-ready.

The role reports to the Service Manager and is an onsite position at the dealership with total rewards and a path to incentives based on performance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in automotive service or related dispatch/ops.
• 1+ year of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Experience dispatching work and coordinating technicians.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily workflow for a high-volume recon operation.
• Dispatch repair orders based on skill and priorities.
• Partner with technicians to remove roadblocks.
• Manage vehicles from inspection to frontline readiness.
• Adjust workflow based on inventory and capacity.
• Create, estimate and manage internal repair orders.
• Collaborate with Used Cars, Service, Parts and Detail.
• Track parts, vendor work, and delays.
• Communicate status and priorities to leadership.
• Maintain quality standards in reconditioning.
• Drive productivity and a team-first shop culture.
• Identify bottlenecks and improve recon speed.
