Nidec Mobility America Corporation (NMOA) in St. Charles, IL is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join our Hybrid work environment.

The role focuses on quality assurance and process control within our automotive electronics division, supporting ongoing product development and production. Under the Quality Systems Manager, you will establish and enforce quality standards, lead testing, document results, and coach a cross-functional team to improve processes while aligning with IATF 16949

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in quality.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• Strong knowledge of IATF 16949 and quality systems.

Responsabilités

• Establishes quality and reliability standards by studying requirements with management and teams.
• Ensures testing procedures are accurate to customer standards.
• Sets disposition standards for finished products with evaluation tests.
• Devises RFMEA to establish rework standards.
• Maintains Product Quality Documentation System with procedures.
• Prepares product and process quality reports and analyzes trends.
• Supervises QA staff and coaches team members.
• Keeps professional knowledge current through training and networks.
