Job summary

Adient in Lakewood, WA seeks a Quality Systems Engineer/Coordinator to support, maintain, and improve the plant QMS in line with IATF 16949 and BOS standards. You will own audit coordination, documentation control, and continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

The role requires strong quality system expertise, audit experience, and the ability to train staff on BOS requirements across departments and shifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required (candidates currently pursuing a degree may be considered).
• Equivalent combination of education and applicable experience may be considered where appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary coordinator for LPA/ELPA processes and lead audits.
• Maintain and improve the plant Quality Management System (QMS).
• Ensure compliance with IATF 16949 and BOS standards.
• Lead internal audits and coordinate audit activities.
• Administer BOS documentation and change proposals.
• Train employees on BOS requirements and quality systems.
