Job summary

JM Family Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Quality Inspector to ensure vehicles, accessories, and processes meet Toyota and SET quality standards.

You will inspect base vehicles and installed accessories, audit procedures, and communicate findings to teams, driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced production environment. The role requires attention to detail, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Quality mindset and decision-making on quality standards.
• Excellent attendance and reliability in the workplace.
• Experience in multiple departments/shops is preferred.
• Automotive Electrical/Mechanical and/or Production experience is preferred.
• ASE Certifications and/or College Degree preferred.
• Willingness to work overtime on weekdays or Saturdays.
• Commitment to organization and proactive task follow-through.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills to address quality issues professionally.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Computer experience including Word & Excel.
• Ability to work outdoors in non-climate-controlled environments and adapt to weather.
• Valid driver’s license; clean MVR; manual transmission preferred.
• Willingness to rotate between Jacksonville facilities; overnight travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Understand & reinforce Quality Assurance standards and audit procedures.
• Inspect product, including base vehicle, installed accessories, and manuals.
• Audit processes established by Toyota and SET.
• Communicate inspection and audit findings to appropriate parties.
• Collaborate with Quality associates to ensure processes are followed.
• Generate reports to communicate quality concerns to Toyota and suppliers.
• Input data into multiple systems and applications.
• Provide support for quality hold activities (TMNA and SET).
