Job summary

Sigil Partners in Nashville, TN is seeking a Quality Systems professional to maintain plant compliance with IATF 16949:2016 and ISO 9001:2015. You will lead production documentation development, monitor warranty data, and oversee process audits for quality and reliability across the manufacturing environment.

Collaborating with Corporate Quality and the plant team, you will develop internal standards, ensure effective use of quality procedures, and communicate critical issues to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or another technical field plus 3+ years in manufacturing, automotive preferred.
• IATF Internal Auditor certification is preferred but not required.
• IATF Lead Auditor certification is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain plant compliance with IATF 16949:2016 and ISO 9001:2015 standards and customer-quality systems.
• Lead development of production documentation (Control Plans, DVP&R, PFMEA, Standardized Work) to PPAP.
• Monitor warranty data and supplier PPAP files; respond accordingly.
• Oversee evaluation of process audits and finished product inspections for quality and reliability.
• Develop internal quality control standards with Corporate Quality and the Quality Manager.
• Ensure quality systems and procedures are used by all associates.
• Communicate significant quality issues across the company.
• Foster partnerships with customers and suppliers.
• Work with plant teams to address day-to-day quality improvements.
• Occasionally travel to assembly plants to review products and interact with customer personnel.
• Maintain knowledge of FMVSS-205, ECE R43, CCC and other country regulations.
