Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quality, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering or related technical field.
• 2–3 years of automotive manufacturing quality experience preferred.
• Strong analytical skills to identify trends and root causes.
• Familiarity with ISO-9001 quality systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Initiate, implement, and verify corrective and preventive actions
• Support Quality systems implementation and write procedures
• Participate in ISO-9001 auditing activities
• Provide support to customers and sales reps regarding field quality issues
• Monitor warranty returns and investigate trends
• Track warranty claims and report strategies to reduce claims
• Interact with customers about warranty investigations
• Review returned material and communicate root causes
• Develop and maintain quality standards for development and design projects
• Develop validation processes and write reports
• Implement inspection plans for new projects
• Perform verification and tests
• Collaborate to identify process improvements
• Communicate and resolve quality issues on the shop floor
• Work with suppliers to resolve quality issues and corrective actions
• Develop employees through training and mentoring
