Job summary

Aptiv is seeking a Quality Assurance professional in Warwick, RI, to ensure product quality across development and manufacturing in the Antaya division. You will drive quality requirements, audits, and improvements in a fast-paced automotive environment.

Responsibilities include root-cause analysis, supplier interfaces, and reporting on quality trends. A 3+ year manufacturing QC background and knowledge of ISO/IATF 16949 are required to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years quality control experience in manufacturing, automotive preferred.
• Experience with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and APQP.
• Ability to read and write technical reports and specifications.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, apply and maintain quality requirements for development and manufacturing.
• Perform root cause analysis using 8D + 5 Why and fishbone diagrams.
• Serve as QA resource to supervisors for problem identification and corrective actions.
• Interface with suppliers and customers on quality issues and corrective actions.
• Review purchase orders and change requests for quality criteria.
• Report on quality issues, trends, and losses.
