Job summary

The Quality Engineer at Relyans Max Group will drive product and process compliance, lead root cause investigations, and support APQP activities across the organization. You will interact with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve issues, maintain documentation, and ensure adherence to IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field and / or five years of automotive quality control experience.
• Knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 is expected.
• Experience with OEM automotive portals is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary Quality contact for customer concerns with timely documentation and resolution.
• Manage RMAs and coordinate with internal teams to support returns.
• Initiate and lead CARs with root cause identification and corrective actions.
• Quarantine nonconforming material and drive containment investigations.
• Lead cross‑functional improvement initiatives using data to achieve measurable results.
• Support production and engineering with robust preventive controls and QA oversight.
• Collaborate with Supplier Quality Engineer on supplier performance and gap resolution.
• Monitor supplier activity reports to ensure compliance with requirements.
• Maintain documentation compliant with IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 standards.
