Job summary

Vibracoustic in Morganfield, KY is seeking a Quality Engineer to join our automotive manufacturing team. You will apply AIAG core tools and IATF 16949 standards to ensure parts meet specifications and customer requirements.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and at least 3 years of quality engineering experience in manufacturing, with strong problem-solving and cross-functional communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field or combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years of Quality Engineering experience in an automotive manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of AIAG Core Tools including APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plans, MSA, and SPC.
• Working knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and customer-specific automotive requirements.
• Experience with root cause analysis and problem-solving methodologies (8D, 5 Why, Fishbone).
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across production, engineering, suppliers, and customers.
