Job summary

Colonial Group seeks a Quality Coordinator to drive defect-free builds and support on-floor quality initiatives. You will lead problem solving, coach team members, and train staff on quality topics to meet customer expectations.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in quality control, automotive assembly experience, and familiarity with ISO9001/IATF16949. On-site role with strong collaboration and data-driven quality focus.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of ISO9001 or IATF 16949:2016 Quality Systems.
• Goal is world class performance and customer satisfaction.
• Urgency, teamwork and strong communication are essential.
• Able to collaborate with multiple stakeholders across the site.
• Strong time management and multitasking in a fast-paced automotive environment.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Production system and module product knowledge.
• Experience in quality control and audits.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality control inspections, checks, and tests during assembly.
• Lead or support problem solving on the floor and train team members in quality topics.
• Communicate quality status to team and management; train to improve quality.
• Coordinate internal and external audits; identify gaps and report results.
• Support customer plant visits to investigate quality performance and returns.
• Evaluate materials to quality requirements and report defects.
• Maintain quality data files and generate quality reports.
• All other duties as assigned.
