Job summary

Nippon Paint Automotive Americas Inc. (NPAA) is seeking a QA/Lab Technician to perform in-process visual and physical property tests, ensure ISO/TS compliance, and operate testing equipment.

The role includes preparing test panels, collecting data, and communicating discrepancies for corrective action. Applicants should have a High School Diploma and up to 6 months of manufacturing or lab experience, preferably in an industrial or automotive setting.

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience in manufacturing or lab setting.
• High School Diploma.
• Industrial or automotive experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conducts in-process visual and physical properties testing to determine product conformance (in spec).
• Identifies out-of-spec material and communicates discrepancies to initiate corrective action.
• Operates testing equipment following operating instructions.
• Prepares and sprays testing panels and collects data.
• Ensures QC equipment calibrations and maintenance meet ISO/TS requirements.
• Conducts sample tests and communicates discrepancies to supervisor.
• Adheres to safety, health, and environmental procedures.
