Job summary

AISIN World Corp. of America, Seymour, IN, is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to oversee and improve quality systems for automotive components on-site.

The role leads audits, drives corrective actions, supports new product launches, and collaborates with production, engineering, and supply chain to ensure compliance with IATF 16949/ISO 9001. Ideal candidates have knowledge of CQI special processes and strong leadership; a bachelor’s in engineering or quality management, plus supplier quality

Qualifications

• Experience with audits and compliance to customer requirements and regulatory standards.
• Direct knowledge of CQI special processes (welding, heat treatment, adhesion) is a plus.
• Leadership and cross-functional collaboration with production, engineering, and supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the corporate Process Audit team and achieve customer certifications.
• Provide AISIN locations with training and certification of in-house special process auditors.
• Support Special Process Audits at North American manufacturing locations as needed.
• Follow-up with sites after audits to ensure corrective actions are addressed and improvements are sustained.
• Develop audit criteria and process control methods for additional special processes.
• Support QA Center Lab staff with Product Audit, Vehicle Evaluation, Failure Analysis & Testing, and Dimensional Analysis.
• Manage teams responsible for Material Analysis, Measurement & Dimensional Analysis, Product Testing & Evaluation, Calibration, and Quality Training.
• Communicate activity status and KPIs of the team.
