Job summary

You will design, develop, and maintain automated test solutions for ECUs, vehicle systems, and connected platforms, collaborating with validation engineers, embedded software developers, systems engineers, and integration teams to improve coverage and accelerate regression.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Design scalable automation frameworks using Python for ECU and vehicle testing
• Develop automated test scripts for functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing
• Create reusable Python libraries, utilities, and automation components
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions)
• Generate automated test reports and dashboards
• Perform root-cause analysis of failed tests and defects
• Support issue tracking using Jira and ALM tools

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Python Test Automation Engineer with strong experience in Automotive ECU Validation, HIL Testing, and Test Automation Framework Development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test solutions for Electronic Control Units (ECUs), vehicle systems, and connected automotive platforms.

The engineer will collaborate closely with validation engineers, embedded software developers, systems engineers, and integration teams to improve test coverage, accelerate regression execution, and ensure software quality across vehicle programs.

Key Responsibilities

Test Automation Development

• Design and develop scalable automation frameworks using Python for ECU and vehicle-level testing.
• Develop automated test scripts for:
  • o Functional validation
  • o Regression testing
  • o Integration testing
  • o End-to-end testing
• Create reusable Python libraries, utilities, and automation components.
• Experience with Pytest and Robot framework
• CAN BUS Knowledge and CAN Tool Experience
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Integrate Python automation suites into Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or GitHub Actions.
• Generate automated test reports and dashboards.
• Perform root-cause analysis of failed tests and software defects.
• Support issue tracking using Jira and ALM tools.
