Job summary

ITAC Solutions, LLC is seeking a Purchasing Specialist / Senior Purchasing Specialist / Automotive Buyer to help build supplier partnerships, drive cost savings, and localize parts across the U.S., Mexico, and Canada. You will source materials, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier performance to support mass production.

This direct-hire role offers a $55,000–$70,000 annual salary with travel both domestically and internationally, and a collaborative environment focused on high-impact

Qualifications

• Purchasing experience in the automotive industry.
• Strong USMCA, tariff, and U.S. Customs knowledge.
• Experience localizing parts across North America.
• SAP and VAATZ proficiency.
• Strong supplier negotiation and presentation skills.
• Ability to travel domestically or internationally.

Responsibilities

• Source materials and select suppliers based on cost, quality, and delivery.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms for new projects.
• Manage USMCA compliance, tariffs, and country-of-origin requirements.
• Coordinate part changes, development, and supplier quality improvements.
• Identify supply risks and develop shortage-prevention strategies.
• Drive cost reduction, parts localization, and purchasing KPIs.
• Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers through mass production.
