Bob Ruth Ford, Inc. in York County, PA, seeks a part-time Shuttle Driver to transport customers to and from the dealership and to serve as a back-up porter as needed.

You will shuttle vehicles, greet service customers, assist with basic inquiries, maintain a neat lot, and support service operations during evenings and Saturdays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• PA driver's license required.
• Ability to operate both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
• Ability to work irregular hours including evenings and Saturdays.

Responsabilités

• Shuttle vehicles between lots or dealership locations for customers and service needs.
• Welcome service customers and assist with basic inquiries.
• Locate and tag cars for advisors or sales consultants.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and orderly parking lot.
• Perform general upkeep on auto signage and related tasks.
• Run errands as requested by the service department.
• Assist with loading/unloading and moving vehicles as needed.
• Answer phones and greet customers as needed.
• Receive and deliver customers’ vehicles and ensure secure handoff.
• Sanitize vehicles frequently and manage loaner car fleet.

PA Driver's License

OVERVIEW OF COMPANY AND POSITION

Family owned and operated for over 40 years, Bob Ruth Ford, Inc. is South Central Pennsylvania’s fastest growing dealership. The part time Shuttle Driver position is primarily responsible for transporting customers to and from the dealership. This position also serves as a back-up to the Porter as necessary.

JOB REQUIREMENTS (REQUIRED)

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• A valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License
• Ability to operate both manual and automatic transmission vehicles
• Ability to work irregular hours, which may include evenings, “bell-to-bell” hours, and/or Saturdays
• A good work ethic and willingness to perform various duties as assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS (PREFERRED)

• One or more years of experience as a porter, driver, or lot attendant supporting an automotive dealership
• Prior experience supporting a dealership, auto auction, used car lot, or related operation

JOB DUTIES

This position is primarily responsible for transporting service customers to and from the dealership and picking up/delivering parts. As necessary, this position also serves a back-up or complement to the Porter by performing duties which typically include, but are not limited to the following:

• Shuttling new, preowned, loaner, service, newly purchased, and other vehicles from one lot, dealership or location to another
• Welcoming Service customers and assisting with basic inquiries
• Locating and tagging cars for advisors or sales consultants
• Maintaining a neat, clean and orderly parking lot
• Performing maintenance and upkeep on auto signage
• Running errands as requested by the service department
• Adding gasoline to vehicles as necessary
• Answering phones and greeting customers
• Receiving and delivering customers’ vehicles
• Sanitizing vehicles frequently
• Managing loaner car fleet
• Contacting customers to arrange shuttle and valet
