Job summary

Schaeffler Battery Technology, LLC is seeking a Project Manager to lead one or more customer-facing projects in the automotive sector. You will define targets, develop concepts with experts, and ensure on-time delivery with the proper resources and milestones.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least one year of project management experience, plus experience with SAP and MS Office and the ability to present engineering topics and moderate discussions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum one year of project management experience.
• Experience with SAP and MS Office.
• Experience presenting engineering topics and moderating discussions.
• Knowledge of product, manufacturing, and business processes.
• Knowledge of vehicle drivetrain theory.
• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Manage one or more projects with internal and external customers.
• Agree on targets and develop concepts based on client requirements.
• Ensure delivery of projects including milestones, gateways, and resources.
• Steer and coordinate lessons learned and document reviews.
• Lead project team functionally and coordinate external providers.
• Ensure compliance with standards, policies, and procedures.
• Provide KPIs and notify stakeholders if targets are at risk.
