Job summary

Blue Chip Talent, in partnership with an automotive components organization, seeks a skilled Project Manager to lead cross-functional automotive product development programs. You will coordinate customer and engineering activities and manage programs from initial business opportunity through production launch.

Responsibilities include managing schedules, milestones, and deliverables while engaging with OEM customers, participating in program reviews, and coordinating quotations and new business

Qualifications

• 7+ years of project or program management experience in automotive.
• Experience managing automotive component or engineered-product development programs.
• Experience supporting products through concept, prototype, validation, development and launch.
• Familiar with OEM program gates, quality processes, timing requirements and deliverables.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional engineering, commercial, account management and customer activities.
• Experience working with automotive OEM customers.
• Understanding of quoting, proposals, sales activities or new business development.
• Engineering background or strong technical knowledge of automotive components.
• Experience coordinating multiple OEM programs concurrently.
• Familiarity with North American, European, or Asian OEM development processes.
• PMP certification.
• Experience coordinating vehicle evaluations, ride sessions, or product demonstrations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate engineering, account management, commercial and customer activities across automotive programs.
• Manage product development schedules, milestones, deliverables and timing.
• Support programs from concept through production launch.
• Participate in OEM customer meetings, program reviews, and technical discussions.
• Coordinate product quotations, proposals and new business pursuits.
• Track program gates, quality requirements, launch readiness and key deliverables.
• Partner with engineering teams to resolve issues and align with customer expectations.
• Support multiple OEM accounts and programs simultaneously.
