Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead hourly production teams on high-volume automotive assembly lines in Sterling Heights, MI. This on-site, permanent role offers a competitive base salary and a clear leadership career path.

You will drive safety, quality and throughput, coach unionized workers and collaborate with management to meet targets. Excellent medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company contribution and tuition assistance are included, with growth toward Area Manager.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience in manufacturing.
• Experience leading a unionized workforce preferred.
• Lean Six Sigma knowledge (Green/Black Belt) a plus.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach and motivate a team of hourly production associates.
• Run daily workflow to hit safety, quality, throughput and cost targets.
• Coach standardized work and verify process adherence on the line.
• Lead start-of-shift meetings, set expectations and track team performance.
• Build strong working relationships with team members, union representatives and management.
• Administer the collective bargaining agreement fairly and consistently.
• Drive continuous improvement and problem solving on the line.
• Promote a strong safety culture and enforce workplace policies.
