Job summary

You will coordinate with suppliers, manage scanning equipment deployment, ensure traceability to VIN, support change control processes, and maintain master BOM and project schedules across North American plants.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience as a DRE for automotive parts/systems.
• BS in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with Team Center, data management and traceability methodology.
• Knowledge of scanning and data acquisition equipment functionality.

Responsibilities

• Identify target parts, lead design, sourcing, release, validation and verification of labels.
• Lead design, release, and implementation of component labels; ensure traceability tied to VIN.
• Coordinate with suppliers to specify label updates and manage change control approvals.
• Support scanning equipment maintenance and assess current scanners at North American plants; identify gaps and acquisitions.
• Develop and execute plans for validation and verification of installed equipment performances.
• Maintain manufacturing-specific documents, update traceability info, and track Change Requests.
• Create and manage the master program BOM within client tools.
