Job summary

Vontier is seeking an Associate Product Manager to support the product team in executing category strategy and day-to-day product tasks for automotive technician customers and franchisee partners. Based in Stow, OH, this hybrid role collaborates with Product Managers, Marketing, Sales, Engineering and Operations to evaluate opportunities, launches, lifecycles, and category performance.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years in product, marketing, category management, merchandising, or a related role; automotive aftermarket or B2B2C exposure is a plus.
• Proven ability to support product planning and lifecycle activities (specs, launches, basic pricing inputs).
• Strong analytical skills with comfort in Excel/Google Sheets and preparing concise reports to surface trends and KPIs.
• Clear written and verbal communicator; comfortable presenting to small groups and creating user-facing materials.

Responsibilities

• Support development and execution of category plans by gathering data, preparing materials, and contributing inputs to long-range roadmaps.
• Assist in creating product specifications and documentation for new and existing items (inventory needs, pricing inputs, launch timelines).
• Coordinate go-to-market activities with Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain and Operations.
• Maintain product data and systems (SKU setup, attributes, pricing updates, compliance documents).
• Plan and coordinate product promotions across channels to automotive technician customers and franchisee partners.
• Monitor product and promotional performance; prepare reports and basic analyses.
