U-Haul is seeking a skilled Automotive Preventive Maintenance Technician in Houston, TX. You will maintain the latest fleet by performing preventive maintenance, oil changes, tire and brake work, and minor part replacements using Ford/GMC standards.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical aptitude and repair experience preferred.
• Driver’s license required.
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
• Basic computer skills.
• Regular attendance and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Secure trucks on lifts and ramps.
• Lubricate suspensions, perform oil changes and replace minor parts.
• Perform tire and brake maintenance.
• Occasionally road-test vehicles.
• Use a proprietary electronic pre-inspection checklist.
