Job summary

Bean Automotive Group in Kendall, Miami, is seeking a Porter to receive vehicles, move them to the shop for repairs, and return them to customers.

You will wash vehicles, keep the service drive clean, and ensure vehicles are secured, especially during severe weather. A valid driver's license and ability to drive manual transmission are required.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid and unrestricted driver’s license with no Type A violations in the last three years, a maximum of two Type B violations in the last two years, and must be able to drive manual transmission.
• High school diploma or GED preferred, not required.
• Ability to read, communicate and comprehend simple instructions effectively.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one and two step instructions.

Responsibilities

• Move vehicles from the service drive to the shop or service parking lot.
• Move vehicles to the service drive for customer delivery.
• Wash vehicles.
• Maintain the service drive and parking lot clean.
• Ensure that vehicles are secured in the event of severe weather and that inventory is protected.
• Ensure that vehicles are parked in assigned areas and keys are properly marked and stored.
