Service Porter & Shop Attendant - Ford of Boerne

Ford of Boerne has an outstanding opportunity for a results-focused full-time porter. The shop porter will park and retrieve service clients' cars in a friendly and professional manner, assist with cleaning the shop, and support dealership management when necessary. Job Responsibilities

• Greet customers on the service drive
• Park cars in designated areas
• Retrieve cars for customers
• Clean service shop floors daily
• Clean mop buckets daily
• Empty trash cans in shop daily
• Assist in checking in new vehicle convoys
• Assist with service opening and closing duties
• Notify service advisor if customers are waiting
• Keep the service drive free of vehicles
• Assist technicians in moving inoperable vehicles
• Alert the manager to any damage to clients’ vehicles
• Develop understanding of dealership processes to advance your automotive career

Requirements

Clean driving record, positive attitude, ambition to build a career in the automotive industry. Must be able to drive a standard transmission.

Physical Demands

While performing duties, employees frequently stand and walk. Occasionally, they must lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
