Job summary

Protech Automotive Solutions is seeking motivated, customer-focused Porters to transport vehicles, tools and equipment throughout the shop and during repair processes. This entry-level role offers growth opportunities within the company.

You will support the field team, ensure smooth workflow and help maintain a safe, organized work environment. Ideal candidates are ready to learn, able to lift up to 60 pounds, pass background checks, and thrive in a fast-paced automotive setting.

Job Summary

Porters will be responsible for transporting vehicles, tools, parts, and equipment to necessary locations. This is an entry level position with an opportunity to grow into other roles.

Role and Responsibilities

Qualifications, Education & Experience

• Desire to learn a skilled trade
• High school diploma or tech school graduate
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Knowledge and ability to use computers, mobile devices, and related technology efficiently
• Self -motivated, positive attitude, with a customer focused vision

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have a valid driver's license and ability to pass MVR check
• Ability to pass a background check
• Must be able to lift 60 pounds independently
• Travel may be required for continuing education and certification training
• Requires standing for extended periods of time with frequent stretching, reaching, walking, and stooping
• Requires frequent driving of company and customer vehicles
• Extensive travel within assigned area is expected
• May have exposure to fumes, dust, and chemicals
• Ability to work in a shop environment in inclement weather
• Required to wear PPE to include but not limited to facial covering, eye protection, gloves
• Protech uses E-Verify to confirm the identity and employment eligibility of all new hires.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. with no restrictions.
