Job summary

Protech Automotive Solutions is seeking entry level Porters to transport vehicles, tools, parts, and equipment across locations. This role offers growth opportunities within the organization and a chance to gain hands-on experience in automotive services.

Compensation is pay up to $21.00 per hour with potential for advancement. Candidates should have a high school diploma, strong customer service skills, and comfort using computers and mobile devices in a shop environment.

Job Summary

Porters will be responsible for transporting vehicles, tools, parts, and equipment to necessary locations. This is an entry level position with an opportunity to grow into other roles.

Pay Up to $21.00 per hour!

Role and Responsibilities

• Customer service oriented
• Communicate with field team to ensure efficiency and productivity
• Test drive vehicles after repair and/or ADAS calibrations
• Transport vehicles, tools, and/or customers as needed during repair process
• Vehicle clean up may be required
• Perform other duties as assigned by field leadership

Qualifications, Education & Experience

• High school diploma or tech school graduate
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Knowledge and ability to use computers, mobile devices, and related technology efficiently
• Self -motivated, positive attitude, with a customer focused vision

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have a valid driver's license and ability to pass MVR check
• Ability to pass a background check
• Must be able to lift 60 pounds independently
• Travel may be required for continuing education and certification training
• Requires standing for extended periods of time with frequent stretching, reaching, walking, and stooping
• Requires frequent driving of company and customer vehicles
• Extensive travel within assigned area is expected
• May have exposure to fumes, dust, and chemicals
• Ability to work in a shop environment in inclement weather
• Required to wear PPE to include but not limited to facial covering, eye protection, gloves
• Protech uses E-Verify to confirm the identity and employment eligibility of all new hires.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. with no restrictions.
