Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Muskogee, OK is seeking a Porter to support quality repairs by cleaning customer vehicles before delivery. You will help maintain shop and office cleanliness and assist with production area housekeeping.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, ability to multitask, and a valid driver's license. You will work with a team following our WOW plan and may be eligible for bonus opportunities; pay ranges from $12 to $18 per hour.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma / GED preferred.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Automotive experience preferred.
  • Clear close vision required.
  • 18 years or older.
  • Valid Driver's license.
  • Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure consistent execution of WOW plan.
  • Maintain daily housekeeping of the interior of the office, including daily emptying of garbage cans, cleaning the floors, and dusting the countertops and work area.
  • Maintain the daily housekeeping of the interior of the production area, emptying of waste cans, sweeping the floors, disposing of unwanted vehicle parts, and placing tools and equipment in their proper location.
  • Maintain parking lots and grounds in a neat and orderly fashion, including shoveling sidewalks when necessary.
  • Pre-washes customer vehicles prior to repairs beginning.
  • Exterior and interior cleanup of customer vehicles after repairs are complete.
  • Transport of customer vehicles to sublet locations for repairs.
