Job summary

The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is seeking an Automotive Porter at Aston Martin of Downers Grove. The Porter will keep the lot neat, move units as directed, transport customers and staff, and assist with deliveries to ensure the showroom and lot present vehicles in top condition.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, and the ability to operate a manual and automatic transmission, along with basic tools. We offer benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to operate machinery safely.
• Ability to drive manual and automatic transmissions.
• Valid state driver's license.
• Ability to operate a vehicle.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.
• 21+ years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Keep vehicle lot neat and orderly; move units as directed by managers.
• Transport customers and dealership personnel as needed.
• Assist with customer deliveries.
• Ensure all vehicles are clean and in good repair on the lot and showroom.
• Pickup and deliver vehicles to storage and other dealerships.
• Assist with weather-related cleanup when necessary.
• Building and grounds maintenance as needed.
• Other functions and special projects may be assigned.

Job Responsibilities:

• Keeping vehicle lot neat and orderly, moving units as directed by the Sales/Service managers and in accordance with dealership display standards
• Transporting customers and dealership personnel, as needed
• Assisting with customer deliveries
• Ensuring all vehicles are clean and in good repair on the lot and showroom
• Picking up vehicles from storage and deliver vehicles to storage and other dealerships
• Assisting with weather related clean up when necessary
• Building and grounds maintenance as needed
• Other functions and special projects may be assigned
