Job summary

XL Parts / The Parts House is hiring a Distribution Center Associate to receive and stock automotive parts in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The role requires quick movement, bending, and occasional climbing of a short ladder to reach top shelves.

You will read orders, assemble customer shipments, record inventory movements, and use a computer for record-keeping. A weekday schedule with possible overtime and a competitive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to operate a computer and use basic software for record-keeping.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Receive and stock automotive parts accurately.
• Read orders and determine items to move based on customer orders or requisitions.
• Transport materials from receiving to storage or other areas.
• Sort and organize materials by size, type, color, or code.
• Assemble customer orders and place on pallets or shelves for shipment.
• Label materials with identifying information and open containers as needed.
• Record received or distributed quantities in the system.
• Weigh or count items to ensure compliance with standards.
• Prepare parcels for mailing and shipment via common carrier.
