Job summary

Genuine Parts Company’s NAPA store in Concord, CA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead daily operations, coach the crew, and deliver exceptional customer care.

You will work alongside the store manager to maximize sales, ensure safety and cleanliness, manage inventory, and drive NAPA programs across the team. The role requires a high school diploma, automotive knowledge, a passion for service, and the ability to lift 60 lbs; ASE certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in the automotive after-market service industry or willingness to learn all things automotive.
• Passion for delivering customer care and building long term relationships.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, complex environment.
• Knowledge of cataloging and/or inventory management systems.
• Ability to lift 60lbs in some situations.
• ASE Certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead a successful team, support the store manager, and manage in a fast-paced retail store.
• Manage store operations to maximize sales, profits and customer service.
• Build, coach, train and engage crew to deliver superior customer care and business results.
• Inventory protection, asset management, operational and safety issues.
• Ensure overall cleanliness and readiness of delivery vehicles, sales floor, stock room and outside areas.
• Drive NAPA programs and continuous improvements in processes.
