Job summary

Christian Brothers Automotive (CBA) is seeking an Automotive Parts Specialist in Billings. You will be the first contact for parts vendors, greet them professionally, and oversee intake of parts as they arrive. Coordinate with technicians to assess parts needs, order items, and maintain inventory accuracy.

The role requires strong parts knowledge, organization, and attention to detail, plus effective communication with vendors, service advisors and technicians.

Qualifications

• Prior computer and customer service experience required.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
• High school education is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receive all incoming parts and deliver to technician.
• Organize and manage the returns shelf for local/dealership returns.
• Track returns and credits in TekMetric.
• Label pre-ordered parts with repair orders and appointment dates.
• Queue returns from vendors in the return portal.
• Process parts warranty claims and monitor reimbursement status.
• Maintain and update AR tracking spreadsheets.
• Check bulk oil levels and order as needed.
• Track stocked cabin and engine air filters and order as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
