Mankato Motors Chevrolet is looking for a motivated parts clerk to support our service technicians and customers in a fast-paced dealership environment. You will learn parts lookup, billing, and ordering while delivering parts to the shop and answering price quotes.

This entry-level role requires a high school diploma, comfort with a busy workflow, and strong organizational and time-management skills. We offer medical/dental, 401(k) with company match, paid training, and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Able to work in a fast-paced work environment.
• Have strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Responsibilities

• Deliver parts to service technicians.
• Support service technicians' needs daily.
• Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Learn basics of looking up parts, billing, and ordering parts.
• Answer phone calls, providing price quotes and other information.
• Provide high level service to internal and external customers.
• Pull and fill orders from stock.
• Notify parts manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention.
• Locate out-of-stock parts from outside source.
• Make sure internal requests for parts are billed on service repair order.
• Receives payment from retail customers or obtains credit authorization.
